Ironically I had these done long before the cancer.  There was a point in my life when the chaos of being a mother, wife, and running my own business was such that after months of 60 hour work weeks I had a hard time remembering to enjoy life.  To be appreciative for it.  Last year at this time I worked for four months straight with one single day off, Thanksgiving.  I saw my children in a rushed frenzy of morning breakfasts, teeth brushing and dropping off and some days that was all.  I got these tattoos to remember that there is more to life than work and mortgages that yes, there can be joy as well.  Ironic.  Cancer has taught me that lesson more clearly than anything else could.  I spent more time with my family this summer than in the last three combined.  I have a favorite saying lately, “I plan to learn this lesson the first time, because I don’t want to retake this class”.  Love Life <3
